11/5/2006 YOUTH MINISTRY

 

Schedule Change:  High School Classes on Sunday, November 5 are cancelled because of the Annual Archdiocesan Youth Convention Weekend.  Classes will resume on November 12.

 

High School Youth Group—Youth Group resumes on November 8, 7:30 to 9pm.

 

Deanery Pray and Play Event – Mark your calendars now for November 15th from 6-8pm.

Parish youth groups from our Olympic Deanery are invited to attend.  You will experience a “Hunger Banquet” designed to heighten your awareness of what it means to have limited resources.

          Flyers are available at the High School Classes and High School Youth Group.  If you have any questions, please contact Lois in the Youth Ministry Office.   

 

Confirmation Classes begin on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 pm   See you then!

         

 YOUTH CONVENTION 

This weekend, high school teens from Holy Trinity Parish will be attending the Annual Archdiocesan Youth Convention at Bellevue Community College.  Please remember us in your thoughts and prayers.  We are looking forward to a fun and faith-filled experience!

 

                  

Young Adults

 

Mark your calendars now for our Young Adult Potluck, on Sunday November 19, 5 pm at Holy Trinity.  All Young Adults from 18-35 are invited to attend.  This is a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy time together. 

Please bring a main dish or salad to share.  Call the Youth Ministry Office for questions.

High School Faith Formation classes are held from 11am to 12:15pm each Sunday. Register in the Faith Formation Office.

             Prepare your Heart Retreat

 

Attention Juniors and Seniors! The Prepare your Heart Retreat is a weekend getaway for high school juniors and seniors December 1-3.   It is an opportunity to begin the Advent season with a

 

new heart and openness to discerning the ways the Lord is calling us to use our gifts in the service of others.  You will be given the tools to:

          *Understand your own gifts

          *Deepen your prayer life

          *Discern God’s Will in your life
