SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMISSION
Under the guidance of Catholic Social Principles, the Social Justice Commission participates in service ministries to the needy and addresses other social injustices in our community and the wider world.
Social justice is a requirement of our faith and needs to be an integral part of parish life. Commission members seek to raise parish awareness of the social needs of today, and attempt to involve large numbers of parishioners in their community projects.
In addition, they strive to live out the Jubilee Pledge of 2000: pray, learn, reach, live, serve, give, advocate, encourage.
