The purpose of this council is to provide the Pastor and other parish consultative bodies with advice concerning spiritual and liturgical renewal in the parish and to recommend to the Pastor sacramental policies and practices consistent with the norms established by the Archdiocese and the Universal Church. The Council plans, implements and evaluates the regular and special liturgical celebrations of the Church year. The Council also supports the priorities and policies of the parish as established by the Pastor and Pastoral Council. Membership of the Council consists of the Pastor or his designated representative, the Pastoral Associate, and up to eight at large representatives elected or appointed from the parish and representatives from the Liturgical ministries.
