PASTORAL COUNCIL
The Pastoral Council is a board, representing the parishioners, who
promote community, to be a sign and witness of unity and to be a positive
consultative body to the pastor in pastoral planning. The council performs
its functions by listening to the parish community and formulating broad
priorities, goals and policies which articulate and foster the mission
of the parish. The Pastoral Council is made up of nine elected members
serving a three year term and representatives from parish boards and committees.
The Pastoral Council meets on the third Saturday of every other month.
Meetings are open to all parish members.

FINANCE COUNCIL
The Finance Council is a consultative body which provides
the pastor with advice concerning the stewardship of parish financial resources.
In its role as financial advisor, the council conducts long-range
financial planning with regard to funding the operational and capital needs
of the parish. Working with other parish committees and programs, the Finance
Council is responsible for overseeing the process which results in the
annual parish budget. Additionally, the council provides analysis
of monthly financial statements, proposed strategies and related programs.
The Finance Council meets monthly and reports to the Parish Council.

The purpose of this council is to provide the Pastor and other parish consultative bodies with advice concerning spiritual and liturgical renewal in the parish and to recommend to the Pastor sacramental policies and practices consistent with the norms established by the Archdiocese and the universal Church. The Council plans, implements and evaluates the regular and special liturgical celebrations of the Church year. the Council also supports the priorities and policies of the parish as established by the Pastor and Pastoral Council. Membership of the Council consists of the Pastor or his designated representative, the Pastoral Associate, and up to eight at large representatives elected or appointed from the parish and representatives from the Liturgical ministries.

FAITH FORMATION & RELIGIOUS
EDUCATION COMMISSION
This board consist of the Pastor or his designated representative, or
of Religious education/Faith Formation and ten elected members, including
one student member. The board is responsible for working with the Pastor
and the Director of Religious Education/Faith Formation and the local community
in a manner inspired by and in response to the gospel message of Jesus
Christ.

SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMISSION
Under the guidance of Catholic Social Principles, the Social Justice Commission participates in service ministries to the needy and addresses other social injustices in our community and the wider world.
Social justice is a requirement of our faith and needs to be an integral part of parish life. Commission members seek to raise parish awareness of the social needs of today, and attempt to involve large numbers of parishioners in their community projects.
In addition, they strive to live out the Jubilee Pledge of 2000: pray, learn, reach, live, serve, give, advocate, encourage.
